I don't know wth they THINK they are serving but the crap I had was called a thickburger. Let me tell you this...they should call it the what the hell burger because that's what I said when I got it. Just horrible, nasty and total waste of money.

my ordering experience was like this: hardee's employee= "_____" (he didn't say anything to me, he just stared at me. i guess i was supposed to know when to speak. he shouldn't have to greet me, or ask for my order.) me= "do you have bottled water?" (i always ask because some places only offer cups of water.) hardee's employee= "is that all you want?" (i'm not sure if he was asking if that's all i wanted to order, or if all i wanted, was to know if they had bottled water. because, technically, i didn't actually order it, i simply asked if they had it.) me= yes. hardee's employee= "one eighty one." (i assume he meant "your total is one dollar eighty one cents, please.) he took my money, handed change to me, grabbed a bottle of water out of the cooler, and slid it across the counter at me. (i assume that meant "here is your water. thank you very much. please come back and see us. have a delightful day!" or, that meant... "you got your shit, now get the fuck out!") i usually complain about the fact that no one will say "thank you", anymore. they usually just say "here ya go". this time i'm complaining because nothing was said to me. who hired this individual? who thinks he is a good idea? who is it that believes this person will contribute to the bottom line of hardee's?!?!

I went thru the drive thru and ordered the sack lunch for $5 which consists of choice of two sandwiches out of the four options, small ff, small drink, and an apple pie. The smalls were Mc Donalds mediums and the apple pie was bigger and better also. The pie actually had apples in it! The sandwiches i chose were the hot ham and cheese and the double cheeseburger. Everything cooked to order, hot and very good. Quick and friendly service. It was a cheap lunch and will do it again!

Yes, there is an El Paso IL and it is somewhere off I39 between Bloomington IL and I88....and I hope I never have to return......... We stopped so the little guys could go potty, and I could get some lunch. There was a subway right next store, but I was hopping for a roast beef.....but Hardees does not serve that anymore. Well the natives were getting restless, so I got their new bacon burger combo......and we got back in the car. IT IS HORRIBLE....so bad, greasy and just huge....it helps me understand how people who there often are SO HUGE and FAT. I think I would rather eat my hand next time.... Combo meal, small fry, small drink Total - $6.42
